At the Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics Group, we develop combinatorial algorithms to analyze genomic sequence data to discover, genotype, and phase genomic variants with a special focus on structural variation. We are also interested in algorithms for de novo genome assembly, pangenomics, and hardware/software co-design to accelerate computational workloads.
